Words Game: a JavaScript word puzzle

Guess a five-letter word in up to five attempts. My take on a Wordle-inspired puzzle, with no daily limit.

Words Game is my take on a word-guessing game inspired by Wordle. It is written in JavaScript and lets you play as many rounds as you like, without waiting until the next day.

Five letters, five attempts

The goal is to discover a five-letter word using the clues from each guess. You have up to five attempts to find the answer.

Three languages and a design decision

The game supports Spanish, Catalan, and English. In the Spanish and Catalan dictionaries, I excluded words with diacritics, such as accents and diaereses, to simplify input and keep the rules consistent.

This is a constraint of this version, not a rule of either language. In a word puzzle, dictionary choices are part of the game’s rules and should be explained to the player.
