Hide and Seek: staying out of sight

A JavaScript experiment about movement, visibility, and enemy fields of view.

Hide and Seek is a small experiment I wrote in JavaScript. The player moves through a scene while staying outside the enemies’ fields of view.

Seeing as a game mechanic

The challenge is to relate the player’s position to the area each enemy can observe. A simple visual rule turns movement into a decision: move forward, wait, or find another position.

From prototype to source code

The demo shows the mechanic in action. In the repository, you can follow how the scene and the elements involved in visibility detection are represented.

It is a focused project for exploring a game idea without building an entire game around it.
